Walking A Mile With Jax

They say you can't understand someone until you've walked a mile in their shoes. Well, I couldn't exactly swap shoes with Jack Huffman—known to highway travelers and locals as Jax—so I did the next best thing. I walked alongside him on a sun-drenched slice of highway 277, right between Heber and Snowflake, Arizona.
